Council 7575Brothers,
This was how our thank you letter from
Mother Teresa's Missions in Haiti began.
"Sometime ago a woman came with her child to
see me and said: "Mother, I went to several places
to beg for food, for we have not eaten for three
days but no one gave me anything to eat". I went
to get some for her and by the time I returned, the
baby in her aims had died of hunger."
- Mother Teresa.
I want to also thank all those who attended the
February meeting and voted to take swift and
generous action. It is truly a joy to see our
treasury dollars doing God's work. We can only
pray that our $2,000.00 donation helped save lives
and ease some burdens of the poorest of the poor.
The next few months we will be rather
busy. Our monthly dinners have resumed, the
Raffle and Church Picnic committees are stalling
to meet, and we are working on the details of the
retreat and our 1st degree team will be stepping
into action. Our committee chairs will be reaching
out for help with these worthy projects. More
information on how you can get involved will be
available at our next business meeting, which is
Monday, March 1st. See you there.
Vivat Jesus,
Phil LeBlanc, GK

My Fellow Knights,
My wife had a second surgery on her shoulder,
since the first one failed. This time a reversed
shoulder was implanted, and so far so good.
Recovery will take a while, but things are looking
better. We are hoping to be back home by early
March.
Once again, many thanks for the concerns, cards
and mostly for the prayers which have been
greatly needed.
May God Bless,
Jim Hartigan,
Faithful Navigator
