In September, we have 2 major projects.
On Labor Day Weekend, there is the Annual
Tootsie Roll Drive. At our September Dinner, on
9/24, we will have our Annual Raffle. Both of
these projects require the commitment of all of
our members. Without your assistance, we will
repeat the happenings of the Parish Picnic, which
did not show our finest moments. As my High
School Coach said "Our team is only as strong as
the last man on the bench." So at the August
monthly meeting, be ready to make a commitment
to these projects. Just don't be a Knight who only
attends meetings, if then.
Our August meeting will again be at the
Marriott Residence Inn on 8/2. There will be
deserts and coffee (deserts are needed) at 5:30
PM. Please make every effort to be there and
participate.

Good of the Order.

Brothers
As we enter the final stretch of
summer. Let's get ready for a lot of work
to do. I'm looking forward to our next
meeting at our Parish hall. I do have a
video that I would like show about our
Color Corp and the men in Regalia. I'm
hoping to see a few more men to join our
ranks. The 4th Degree is the Final step of
Knighthood and is an important part of
our order. If anyone is interested and
would like more information ~ please call
me. Also there is an open invitation to all
Knights and their families to join us at
Our Lady of Grace Shrine in Colebrook
on Sept. 19th for a Mass at 2 PM and
luncheon to follow. This is a celebration
of Fr. Levesque's 50th year as a priest.
Come join us as a family event. There
will be several of our Knights in Regalia.
